Not Quite

I have been monitoring areas around Vancouver that have concentrations of deciduous trees hoping to see where fall colors might be promising. Nothing that even vaguely matches images I am seeing from the Colorado area but there are at least a few hints of colors to come in this area. This is a scene along Salmon Creek which is just north of where I live. Shot with my drone telephoto lens and cropped to a pano to exclude the suburbs just above the scene.

Thanks Jameel - the best part is that this is from a flight that originated from my driveway so it's easy to keep track of when the colors are going to get serious

Thanks Jim - the colors won't be in prime time for 2-3 more weeks although if we don't get some rain soon the leaves might just turn brown and drop off.

Thanks Mike - easy to monitor too since I can get back to this shooting position in about two minutes after launching from my driveway.

Thanks Ben - that makes two of us. I have never had a drone's eye view of fall in the PNW and it looks like it's going to be quite interesting.
