I had posted a wider shot from the back side of Old Faithful in Yellowstone the other day. Here is a tighter shot from that same area.

This is good, but the other image was much more dramatic, partly because old faithful was in higher volume. and the sly and the tree also helped it out.

This one has its own appeal with the greater prominence of the sky colors. I like the backlighting of the grasses in front.

Yeah, I like how much this changed based on the tighter crop.
