One can never have too much of American Basin

I've shared several images from my Colorado trip earlier this summer, but I think this one was missed. Not the typical shot of American Basin, I composed this facing one of the peaks along the side of the basin rather than pointing into those sheer granite cliffs which make up the bowl at the upper end of the basin. I was blessed with some beautiful light hitting the hills above the creek when I captured this one and focused on that area during my post-processing.
