This one of the most beautiful places in the Sonoran Desert. The variety of vegetation is absolutely amazing. This image was taken after a rainy winter. There are Mexican Gold Poppies, Chia, Lupines, Desert Chicory, and Brittlebush visible in this image.

Thank you, Zeph. Organ Pipe Cactus N.M. usually goes off from late February to early March depending on how much rain they have had and the thermal regime. You can call them directly in mid-February and get some status report and a vague idea of peak bloom time. They never give an exact time. I do have a vertical version from a slightly different viewpoint. I just have to find it.
