Here a shot of Orion from the Orion Nebula to the Boogie Man Nebula. Boogie Man is the small dark area in the lower left corner. This was taken with the 100mm Canon Macro lens and ASI 1600mm camera using a 5nm Hydrogen Alpha filter. 25-360sec shots Here is a better resolution shot orion200ha_bneb_clone-DeShps.JPG photo - Chuck Pavlick photos at pbase.com
Here is the color version. This is using the Hydrogen Alpha for the red channel and the Sulphur 2 as the green and blue channel. I wish I could do the regular colors from my back yard but my neighbors lights are just too bright. Here is a link to better resolution. This is a shot of the horsehead from a dark site using an old Canon Rebel xt that is modified for astronomy. This was one of the first deep sky shots I took in back in 2012.
