Oxbow Fall Reflections

I love the colors and reflections. It feels slightly tilted to the left.
Thanks Alan, I know I really liked the reflections. I am pretty sure it's level, if you look at the trees most of them are vertically straight. Also OxBow Bend from the normal shooting location is higher, and it lowers down as it heads west. Pretty sure that background line is simply the slope of the land.

Jim, that's a cool capture with the fall colors and reflection, particularly the impressionistic bottom quarter of the image. I agree with Alan's initial assessment about the tilt.

Love the fall colors and the reflections here.

One of the techniques I use to ensure that the image is not tilted is to line up an object and its reflection. In a perfectly aligned image, that line is vertical. I did a quick check using a ruler and rotate arbitrary and ended up with approx. 1.4 degrees clockwise. With a full size image, it will be more accurate than a web sized one.

A Lovely image regardless.

Thanks Jameel. That's a great idea with the reflection for leveling too. I will have to look at it some more.
