Yep, I like this one better then your wide pano. This shows off some really sweet detail in the clouds and peaks.

Beautiful. I know just how difficult it is to crop off fantastic Autumn colours and perfect reflections but their is enough here for my brain to think that they go ad infinitum. A lovely inverse vignette around the peaks and reflection, you are lucky if it is natural and extremely talented if it is a photoshop creation. Ken

I like it, but would go even tighter myself, just below the patches of blue sky both top and bottom.
Thanks Jim. I thought about it but like that blue patch. I might experiment a bit and see.

Thanks Ken. No Photoshop creation here - it is natural and yes sometimes you get lucky

Beautiful. I would add my vote for cropping some of the top & bottom for either a 16:9 or 2:1. Just my .02 as I did see that you like the blue patch in the clouds.

I'll vote for the 16x9 for the left-right balance. I'm not sure why, but I think the upper patch of blue sky pulls the balance left.

The patch of blue sky to the left is pulling my eye too. Suggestions, desaturating it until it stops being noticed or clone some very light clouds over it, content aware fill would probably make a great job. The last alternative is to leave it alone because it is a terrific image. Ken

Thanks Ken. Here is the edit with the blue area addressed with content aware fill.

I prefer it with the blue patch left in. I think that makes the clouds more interesting and adds visual mass to the left side to balance out the strong warm colors of the trees on the right as well as the solid visual mass of the mountains & mid ground on the left.

I do too Monika. It is interesting to see different perspectives. There isn't a right answer here.
