Hey Sasha.

A really nice picture from a great place! I think it is in the detailed close ups that we see the very best of the Painted Hills and I've always found that I use my telephotos there much more frequently than at many other landscape locations. You have caught the colour just right and I love the angled slope just in front of the main event - which I always think of as elephant feet!

Nice comp Sasha - I like the light you got for this shot. Direct sunlight is not your friend at Painted Hills.

You did a good job on avoiding/masking the ubiquitous footprints from the idiots who refuse to stay on the trails.

Wonderful image, Sasha! I like that you didn't crank up the saturation, as I've seen many times in pics of this place. And your composition is terrific, with the intervening wedge of land creating great depth. Very nicely done!
