Painting Copy - Salt Creek, WA

One of my good friends, Dianne Hofbeck, became a serious painter when she retired. We've worked out a deal where she brings all her finished paintings to me to photograph then print a 13x19" for her portfolio before she sells it or takes it to a gallery. In turn I get credit toward another painting. I've got two hanging right now and have credit for a third, so love it when she brings new work for me to see. I just wish I had a wall to put this seascape (about 40x40").

Sounds like a pretty nice deal to me - She does pretty nice work. I have stayed at the campground that is off the the left of this scene and shot a similar view at low tide.

Could you post that picture Ben in this thread - would be a fun contrast. We were going to camp there with some friends, including Dianne, before I broke my leg this winter.

How cool Jim! That's a sweet deal you have set up there. And I really like Dianne's painting. She is quite talented.
