Thanks, Jim. I have been looking for this flower for the past few years with no luck. I tried the newest addition to the Ridges Sanctuary and stumbled upon this one. Unfortunately there were two more larger plants nearby that had the blooms eaten off by white-tailed deer which have become a scourge to the beautiful plants in this preserve

The plant is about eight inches tall. The pink portion is about the size of your thumb. When I get a chance I will post the whole flower.
