Pond in the Sky

So the water in the pond isn't quite frozen yet? Its interesting looking through the aqua water. Is that ice at the bottom of the pond?

Very cool Alisa. Sky Pond is a really sweet place and your photos of it definitely has put it on my list! I will be sure to bring my snow shoes on my next trip to Colorado.

This picture was taken the last day of winter this year. The water you see is deceiving. The lake was frozen all but this one little spot close to the edge.

Hi Guy, yes quite a hike in snowshoes and the steep incline before lake of glass to get to Sky Pond. The last bit of the hike you have to climb next to a waterfall that is covered in ice and snow...a bit intimidating but well worth the view!
