Poppies off Hwy 138 in Lancaster, CA

These is my picture set taken off Hwy 138 on the way to the Poppy Reserve, this is what the foothills of the Tehachapi Mountains look like

#3 Southern Goldfields aka Royal Goldfields, they are highly fragrant

#4 Poppies so thick, it's hard to see any of the ground below

Very cool Johhny!

I like that first one a lot as it shows the poppies going up the hillsides in the background. #2 has a great mixture of color.

It’s cool that both #3 and 4 are just blanketed with solid color.

I also prefer the mix of color in #2. I'm not sure if it is genuinely leaning left or not, but the perception is certainly there.
