Hey Zeph,

A nice one here. This is still on my list to shoot. I came close a year or so ago but it was closed during the fall for some reason.

I don't even care that's this trees been done to death, it's beautiful every time I see it and I still really want to shoot it :D Really nicely balanced with the rocks on the left too. Super job!

When you go into the garden while that maple is at peak color there is typically a line of photographers waiting their turn to shoot. When you get a result like this one its worth it.

For those haven't seen the tree, it's quite small. One needs to get on the ground with the cam only a few inches off the ground. A 24mm seems to work well, for this shot I used the Zeiss 21mm f/2.8. Yes, the crowds can be annoying, but there is a membership that can be purchased, which gets one and a friend in early, (before the leaf blowers start their work), and sometimes even a evening period for photogs only. The gardens value photographers, for they have helped make the gardens world famous.

I appreciate all the positive comments...Thanks.
