I am impressed by the results.

Wow! These are awesome Chuck! The rework is well worth it. I am loving the detail in each of these.
It's funny that when I started do DSO, it was only Nebula's and Galaxies that interested me. The more I see photos like these ones of yours, I am really thinking one day I will have to try this too.

Alan, I know what you mean, if you looks at some of the shots coming from Palomar back then, they are really bad compared to todays standards.

I started out on the planets and then went to both. I enjoy imaging Jupiter and the sun the most. They change constantly nd you don't have to spend a lot of time on them. I have really good seeing down here most of the time. That's how you get good shots of the planets.
I love these images, but that image of Saturn is just amazing.

That was actually taken in 2015. Seeing was exceptional that night.
Very detailed images Chuck. What software are you using to process these?

Thanks Jameel, I'm using Topaz denoise and gigapixel, they work so good on planets. I never expected to get results like this. I'm going through my whole library and reprocessing some of the better shots. I'll probably revisit some of my deep sky shots but the few I've tried did not make much difference, a whole different ballgame there. I'll concentrate on the planets and sun first and then any new deep sky image I'll take I'll work the denoise in in the processing.

All of these are jaw dropping. I love that first Jupiter, and the Saturn and Mars are fantastic as well. I would be over the moon to have gotten any of these! Great stuff, very inspirational as always.
