Even has the trademark bullet hole in the windshield. Interesting to consider the design elements that were considered quite modern in their day.

That's actually in pretty good shape for it's age. Up here in the NW there would be blackberry branches sticking out of every crevice in the body.

Hey Jeff,

Yeah, I like this! Sometimes it's the little details. Like in this I like what looks like a row of weeds in front of it.

There is something cool about these old trucks that even when they enter a state of decay they are still beautiful in their own right. Give it a few more years and this very well may have something similar! The trucks here get moved from time to time to either get rid of some or make more space for others. There are definitely a number that have quite a bit of Mother Nature taking back over.

Thanks Jim! Weeds and growth, decay and rust - really just a fun place to shoot!

Sometimes the subtleties can make or break an image.:)

Neat image Jeff. I like that you placed it off center, I always forget to do that. I have seen fairly large trees growing out of the old wrecks.

Thanks Ben! I think putting it off center keeps it from becoming TOO static (altho the damn thing probably is the very definition of static!:D).

Cool old pick-up! Lovely light on the ole rust bucket!
Cheers Barry! If you're ever near Richmond or Charlottesville, VA you should absolutely check out. The folks that own is are SUPER friendly to photographers traipsing about as long as you are respectful.
