Rocky Mountain Sunset

This is back from last month. While on an errand to take one of the granddaughters to her Gymnastics class I took stopped for a moment on the side of the road to shoot towards the Rockies across some farmers fields to get this view. One thing with that part of Colorado is there is so many opportunities for great photos without the need to head to National Parks or Monuments.

Beautiful light show in the clouds. I really like the scattered shapes and heights of the various clouds in this scene. I'd certainly stop to shoot this.

Great sunset and I like the landscape aspect as well. Love these snow covered mountain formations

Great layers here Jim - from the sky colors of sunset to the peaks with snow on it to the ground layer.

Nice to have such a great scene unfold and available for capture while running around doing errands. Nicely done Jim.

I agree w/Levy about the noisy sky. I know you don't like to crop, but I think a pano crop would work well here. You got a great sunset!
