Saguaro Sunset

Barry loves to travel before Christmas.

Barry loves to call me to meet him places before Christmas.

Barry missed out on this sunset because he lives in Arkansas before Christmas.

I should retire from photography and become a poet...

So this particular year, Barry wanted to meet up in White Sands on his drive out to California. So I went to meet him, and I timed it so I could stop for the might in Saguaro National Monument in Tucson Arizona. As it turned out, I had some clouds...

I worked this into a 4:5 format as it fit the scene best.

The only thing I miss about Arizona - the sunsets. Nice to see the saguaro's at sunset not as silhouettes (too cliche).

Thanks Alan. It helps in this case as the Saguaro were being side lit with the sun off to my right. I like hitting them with the side light, so I am glad it all worked out like this.
