Clean looking work for a salvage Ben.
My salvage job for today is one shot at Cannon Beach back in 2005 with a Canon 20D and crummy glass. New crop and lots of work with very flat light and colors.

Wow Doug! You stumbled across a treasure chest here! What really awesome images! I am glad you found them and worked them up. You might want to print a couple of these! These are images I have never processed. I was going through old Monument Valley images and came up with a few I thought I could do something that would make them palatable.
This one had deep shadows and the color was off a bit. I thought about adding clouds, but decided against it.

This one had a lot of issues. The worst were the shadows on the inside of the arch as well as a dark arch surface. When I would lighten up the face of the arch the shadow on the inside would look foggy and the sky would get noisy and too light. I worked on this for more than a few hours before I figured out the right combination of steps.

For this one, all I had to do was crop it properly and darken the sky a bit.

For this one it was just a crop and a slight darkening of the sky. It was originally a 16x 9 horizontal image.

Very nice Ken I don’t see any noiseFrom 2012 Olympus E410. My previous attempts were long and involved with multiple layers. This is straight out of ACR. I could remove the slight noise but don't feel that it is necessary. This is from a limestone pavement in North Yorkshire. Ken

I have no clue how they choose this spellingVery cool looking Ben! I like the tile like look to those rocks.
It's a funny name for sure. Any idea to the history as to why it's not spelled Secret instead of Cecret?

Alan, I like the subtle coloring and composition as well—I like the framing of the two groups of birds (gulls?) in the foreground.Clean looking work for a salvage Ben.

I love the foreground in this one, Ben. The joints in the rock make it look like someone laid tile here. Nice work selecting this foreground.Time to jump in with your reworked images. No need to limit to one image.

As a geologist, I have heard of limestone pavements but have never seen as nice an example as this one, Ken.From 2012 Olympus E410. My previous attempts were long and involved with multiple layers.
