Wow Joe! I didn't realize that Sandhill Cranes had a spot of red on their head. Of course I don't take many bird images, but seeing the red like that sure makes me want to.

Douglas they let me get pretty close, about 60' away. I could have gotten closer but I didn't want to disturb them.
