Scribbles

Scribbles is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I’m not really sure what this thing is, but it kind of looked like some type of interesting cabbage. Since I wanted to even out the light (i.e., bring down the highlights and brighten the darks), I had to try several different angles before finding one that was acceptable.

Yep, those rippled edges do look like a 4 year old was scribbling.

A very curious leaf structure. Looks like the kind of plant you would only find in a botanical garden. Nice work figuring out how to shoot it.
