Seashells

Tken on a very wet day on the island of Pabay off the West coast of Scotland. If you look closely you will see hundreds of tiny self portraits (shelfies ;)). I thought of using this as a "detail" image but prefered the St John's Wort image. Ken

Amazing to see so many in one spot like this. Very colorful deposit and you are correct about your "selfies" on the surfaces of the shells. Nicely seen.

This is so cool Ken! I haven't seen your Detail entry yet, but I can't imagine how it could be better then this one, at least this sure seems cool.

I have no idea how so many shells are in the one place, this sectionis only a tiny part of the whole. This is now an uninhabited island but was the home of one family up until the 1960's so they may have suplimented their diet with shellfish. Making a living on this small (1 sq mile) island must have been hard. Oh and thank you for the comments. Ken

Lovely colors and shapes. I would have been tempted to pull the stick out on the lower RHS corner (just so that nothing broke up those wonderful shapes).
