This is from SeaWorld San Diego from this week. The Sea Turtle exhibit is really cool, another one of the exhibits that has a viewing area below the surface of the water. It was fun to see them swim around. And I guess they can see us on the other side of the glass too? I will have to ask, but this Sea Turtle had swum right up to where I was standing.
I was surprised how easy it was to get some really nice photos. One has to be conscious of reflections. I would wrap my left hard around the end of the lens so that the lens itself wasn't touching the glass, but my hand itself. If I go down here more, I will buy a rubber lens hood that will flex and also not damage the glass in any way.
I believe this Sea Turtle was about 5 feet in length.
All comments are welcome,
Jim
