Two hours after the shot at Agathla Peak, I made it to my penultimate stop of the day, 30 April.
From US 64, and about 6.5 miles distant, Shiprock in the gloaming. Like Agathla Peak, another sharp butte just popped up out of the flat grasslands.
Not quite the peak of sunset color, that came on US 491 after turning the corner in the town of Shiprock. (See that image several posts ago.)
Anyway, the light and sky were attractive enough to pull off the Hwy for a shot, I thought.
