Shiprock Sunset

Well, I did manage to make it to Shiprock, just barely in time to catch the remnants of the sunset. Was glad I made the effort to get there in time. (read: drove like a madman!!!)
Full disclosure: I did remove a number of power lines from the scene. They weren't helping the view anyway!

Sweet - I like cloud displays like this late in a sunset and you definitely had the right viewpoint in mind. Nice work with the power lines since I don't even know where they are supposed to be in this scene.

If you want to get an aerial view there is a guy at the Farmington airport that will fly you over Shiprock nm a Cessna 172, a high wing airplane, so you can get some great images. His name is Russel Gervais and his number is 505 402-3438. Nice job on this one, Barry.
