Shooting Stars

Dodecatheons are one of my favorite flowers. These tiny beauties were along the Highline Trail, Green River Lakes area of the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming.

I can see why they are a favorite - a very pleasing color spectrum on these blooms.

When I saw Shooting Stars as a title I thought you must have joined in with our recent night time star craze that we had going on in Utah.

But these flowers are just as pleasurable to view. Nice work with this Monika.
