Neat set of shots - very nice detail on all of these. Hate to choose favorites but #1 and #4 stand out for my eyes.
Love to see the oldies like the Mitchell bomber and the Catalena

I have come back to try and pick favorites, it's not easy as all of these are excellent. #1, 4, 10 and 12 are my picks for favorite.
One suggestion I would like to make is next time shoot with just a slightly slower shutter speed. I always try to get the props to have some motion blur instead of frozen sharp. I think the difference is huge for the viewer as motion blur on the props tells the viewer the plan is flying, and for me for some reason my mind expects them to blurry because it knows the plane is flying, so the props should match that mental picture. At least that's how I like it.

Yea, I agree with you, Jim, regarding the frozen motion. This was my first experience at the air show, so to be on the safe side, I used 1/1000 for most shots. 1/500 - 1/700 would work better.
