Silent River

[BlackRockArt]

When there is no wind, the Merced river appears almost not moving. The banks are covered in snow in the chilly winter air, the river meanders through the valley.

Enjoy.

Looks quite cold but also peaceful. I like the untracked snow and ice in this scene.

Lovely. Your words are perfect, reminding me of a Haiku. I like the sinuous curves and tones of blue.

And to think I have floated down that river on an air mattress, Brr. Beautiful image.

Ben, I would've been mighty impressed if you did it last year.

That is a wonderful image Oliver. Conveys the cold very well indeed.

No, it was 1954 when I was 14. And it was summer.

Nice river shape with a nice blue and white (almost) palette! The contrast is a little heavy.
