Simple colorado fall sceens

While I am processing many mighty valleys and mountains from my trip to Colorado this fall, sometimes the simple sceens can be a nice contrast. Here are 2 atypical shots I ran across in the last couple days.
One is just on the side of the Lost Dollar Road looking at some aspen woods, the other is a cow pasture on county road 10 - near Ridgway and Hwy 550

I like the lighting angle for the leaves in the first image - that does a nice job of highlighting the leaf colors and the shadows emphasize the feeling of depth. Normally a field of cows wouldn't do much for me but in this case they offer up a nice color contrast to the rest of the scene.

Very cool Craig! I agree those grand mountain scenes are so cool and captivating, yet there are many smaller scenes that can be just as impactful. I sure like both of these, and #2 is probably one of the better scenes with cows in it that I can recall seeing!
