So this is the Cave Nebula SH2-155

Processed these two version with completely different color palettes, which do you prefer the 1st or 2nd darker one?
The star spike tool was new to me then and I kinda over did them I think?

The first one for sure. The color palette shows more detail and is more pleasing to my eye.

Thanks for posting these Ed. I am so glad you had captured this. The Hubble palette in #1 looks really cool. Mine currently looks more similar to your #2, only mine is like 10 times worse looking.

Very nice, lots to like about both of these, but as many have mentioned above, I favor the 1st one as having more complexity in the color mix, which also seems to accentuate some of the more subtle details better to my eye. I have seen star spikes overdone before, but in this case, I do not think those look bad at all...
