Soft Hills and Haybales

From August 4, 2021, coming home from work (western VT).
The light wasn't particularly great but I was able to salvage this one at an instant where the sun almost broke through the haze and clouds.
Nice to go back and look at summer photos in January

I am guessing you aren't seeing a lot of green right now in VT I like the rolling green terrain in this scene. The round bales look like they could just roll downhill.

Nope, no green around here! Makes me envy you in the PNW. But I do appreciate the sharp distinction between seasons here on the east coast, they offer a nice variety of landscapes.

I like that too about these bales! They almost look like they're in motion because of how they're sitting in tilted positions on the knolls...

Nice one Amy. The rolling hills remind me of Palouse. This is a subtle version of that.

Love it Amy! I spent a lot of time this last fall as I was driving through Nebraska, Iowa, etc. stopping and photographing, or flying my drone around fields like this. There is something so cool about bales of hay. Great job here with this one.
