Something from my backyard and my neighbor's yard this morning.

Guy Schmickle and I were shooting Costa's Hummingbirds this morning in my backyard. Between visits by the Costa's we shot butterflies and then went over to my neighbor's yard to shoot this nesting hummingbird.

These are all great images Douglas. I like the flying hummer, and the nest shot. But the butterfly is just great, the detail is stunning.

I love the hummer shots Doug.

We have about a dozen Anna's hummingbirds (we have four feeders out) that live near our yard year round but for the life of me I have never figured out where their nests are.
