Spring in the air

Today was a nice day here in the PNW - spring appears to be close. One of spring treats here are the cherry blossoms in the Quad area of University of Washington. It is getting harder and harder now to get good compositions as the place is flooded with tourists and photogs. The image below is from several years ago.

That is a beautiful campus, I recall being there a couple of times back in the day. Love those blossoming trees, what a beautiful scene.

Thanks Alan, Jim and Ben. It is indeed a lovely campus. The crowds during the blossom season can be similar to the iconic places. There are a number of wedding shooters as well. Quite a spectacle.

Btw, two of my kids went to school there. Both graduated now.

I did a quick visit to that campus before moving from Utah to the Portland area and almost went to work for one of the departments up there. House prices and traffic in Seattle were the primary detracting factors.

Likely older than you think Douglas. Both of them are now married and I have a couple of grand kids as well
Congratulations to you, Jameel. I'll bet those kids and grandkids are bright too. I might have you on age though. I am 78 years old with four children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I was here before there was dirt. I witnessed historical geology first hand. I have wet plate images of the glaciers in Illinois. :)

BTW, I'll bet it is pretty when those rhododendrons are in bloom.
