Squaw peak meadows with flowers

That first image is one of the more extensive fields of mules ears I think I have seen for Utah. Add in the nice sunrise colors in the clouds and you have a really neat scene. The mountains look fine to me - this hour of the day has natural blues for a distant object.

Wow - I like the additions Ben. The perspective on the flowers in the first of these two is neat with the field of yellow wrapping around the ridgeline. Nice comp in the second one too.

Hey Ben,

The first one looks awesome. The mountain I think looks great, having those clouds being lit is really sweet! And then, all of those flowers, wow! Really great shots here, with #1 as my favorite and then #4 as my next. I really like how #4 the flowers look like a carpet with it being so flat.

Thanks Jim, I had you in mind when I worked the blue of the mountain.

I like the first one, but would also like to see a more expansive higher view that shows more of the surrounding mountains like you posted recently. The next two added are very nice also, esp. the last. Do you have one where you got really close in to make the nearest flowers large in the frame? A shot like that would require either a TS lens or focus stacking if you wanted it sharp all the way to the mountain. What a great place to have in your backyard to revisit.

I shoot this more or less every year, so I am sure I have some as mentioned. I even have some with the 17TSE before I sold it. I have tried focus stacking, but with UWA, I usually find that the dof covers the entire range so far as I can see. But I know other people have better discernment in this regard. But if you can't tell the difference, it, makes editing difficult.

Here is an attempt at focus stacking. As I recall. I was not very adept at FS when I did this, I am sure I could do better now, but I just pulled this one up and the difficulties encountered sort of put me off from future attempts.

The problem here is overlapping elements between images. Stray leaves for example that don't belong. Also the foreground is not all that sharp anyway.
