Another one from the waterfall area at the top of Glen Etive, overlooked by The Buachaille (The Shepherd) of Etive. The storm has passed.
The russet dark and brooding earth colour comes from the bracken that covers this moreland, along with darker heather plants. It is stronger and more pervasive in Fall, particularly with the active skies and light we get in the Fall and winter.I love the earthen toned color palette for this scene. Looks like late fall in the remaining leaves. Beautiful.
Well Barry, you know where to stay should you come back again! I think this one was taken when we went there the first time.Ah, yes! I remember that Scottish mood! Fine work, Martin! I wish I lived closer!
if you ever get over to the UK. Give me advance warning and I'll set something up - though I have to say i spend much of my trip-time over in Canada and the US!You've sold me on visiting Scotland. So many places, so little time...
I agree w/Kyle -- it's going on my list, too!Another one from the waterfall area at the top of Glen Etive, overlooked by The Buachaille (The Shepherd) of Etive. The storm has passed.
