Storm Over Wild Goose

I made a drive through Glacier last night looking for bears (didn't find any) now that the Sun road is open. I did get the beginning of a summer thunderstorm over St Mary lake and Wild Goose Island though. The mosquitos were out in force so I made it a quick grab. Any thought are welcome.

I love how you processed the skies in this one - it imparts an outstanding feeling of depth to this scene that borders on magical. I could easily stare at this scene for a good length of time and not tire of the view.

Edit: Is the east side of the park open now?

The full length of the sun road and the east side are fully open.

Definitely still some there. Didn't get to see much because they closed the hidden lake trail due to bear activity. The highline is closed due to snow.

Just lucky I guess. I didn't invest much time beyond getting the island between those trees. Next time I want to move a few steps to my left.
