She takes her artwork very seriously . I was sitting across the room in a recliner when I saw both her pose and the nice sidelight (partial from the window and also from a lamp). Luckily my camera, for once, was within reach and I was able to get the shot without either disturbing her concentration and/or having her resort to silly posing.

Another great shot! I love the grip on the crayon. For a moment I thought I wanted a bit more shadow detail on her body, but on second thought I like the way you handled it, which puts more emphasis on her face and hands.

This is really awesome! I really need to start doing some B&W with my grandkids, there is a timeless quality to B&W.

Though this is a candid, it's amazing because had you posed this I don't think you could have gotten it set up this well.
