Looking up in a slot canyon.I can't figure out what is going on. Looks like 3 different pics layered over each other. How could the top be so back, when there is such strong light on the middle?
As Alan had mentioned, i was looking straight up in the slot canyon. The black on the top of the image is the wall closest to me and the light wasn't reflecting off of it. Lack of shadow detail works well a lot of timesI can't figure out what is going on. Looks like 3 different pics layered over each other. Thanks. However i never made it up to Owl Creek. Must have been someone else. I talked to a couple of people that were up that way and was tinkering with the idea of meeting up, but never did make it.Hey Dustin! Thanks for the kind words! FocalWorld is a real community effort, the great photos, the friendly help and atmosphere comes from just a bunch of really great people who are starting to make this their home. And a huge welcome to you, it's great to see you here, I hope you will become a regular here also.
And it was great running into you up at Owl Creek Pass this last fall, though it reminds me I don't think I have processed any of those shots yet.
This is a really sweet shot you got. I really enjoy the layering. What a great eye you had to pick this out from where it was you were shooting and to just focus on these layers. This is really awesome.
Oh man.... now who was I talking to up there? As Alan had mentioned, i was looking straight up in the slot canyon. The black on the top of the image is the wall closest to me and the light wasn't reflecting off of it. Lack of shadow detail works well a lot of times
