Sun sets over the distant hills

Sunsets over the distant hills, seen from Paradise area of Mt Rainier. Taken several mins apart. In hindsight I should have taken them with the exact same framing. Which one do you prefer?

Second one for me - the colors are a factor but I like the one tall tree top with the rest below the view of the ridge lines beyond.

Have to agree with Alan, both nice, but that second is the winner.

An interesting comparison Jameel. I think I lean more towards #2 also. Both because I like the way the trees are lower in the frame letting them anchor but not obscure the hills, and also the coloring. I like the coloring in #2 better.

Thanks - that is where I am leaning as well.
