A hole in the clouds allowed this shaft of light on the hillside to light up the oaks and aspen.

This is the last one from this spot taken on October 11th. I still have more from that day, but from different places. I took my Wife up Alpine Loop Thursday and it was mostly finished. So October 11th was my last hurrah.

CC welcome.

It's been a nice show while your stash lasted. You still have a period of time between now and when the snow flies where northern Utah takes on a pleasant earthen toned color palette. I used to look forward to that when I lived there.

Actually I look forward to ice on Utah Lake when I can get the whole Wasatch front mirrored in the ice.

Great work, Ben. Grand with beautiful light and colors. (That ice reflection shot sounds wonderful, can't wait to see it.)

Hey Ben,

This is a nice one. I like that bit of first light on the scene, that really is nice.

Jim
Thanks Jim, glad you like this one, now I think I am done with this scene for the year. It took 3 trips, but I am pretty happy with the results.
