On the way to Sunrise Point at Mt Rainier, there is small lake aptly called Sunrise Lake. It is a small hike down from the parking lot. From a fall trip several years ago.

Yes, even in fall, there are bugs although not as bad as summer I am sure.Part of why this lake isn't more popular is that it doesn't have a view of the mountain, and the bugs in summer can be terrible, so a fall visit like this is recommended.
