Sunrise Over LAKE STEVENS

Sunrise looked like it had potential this morning so I drove to the other side of the lake to fly my drone. Nothing spectacular, but a nice view down on a kayaker fishing (tiny dot upper right in the lake). The color only lasted about 10 min., just enough to capture this 4x4 pano before the clouds socked in and everything went gray.

Crop as Jameel suggested - bottom area doesn't really have much interest or detail. Originally I thought it lent weight to the lake/earth, but it might be a bit much.

I would call this very close to spectacular! :)

I have a thing for sunrises and sunsets where there is a lower layer of clouds that don't get color but are opened up that one can see the color show going on in the upper sky. So for me, I really like this Jim!

Very nice Jim. Live the Pastels and the shades of color. Have you considered cropping a bit at the bottom and have the horizon at the thirds?

Thanks for all the comments guys. I agree with the two layers of clouds Jim. There was another photographer there shooting a time-lapse and hope he got some good movement as the lower clouds moved in to hide the upper show. On second look I like Jameel's suggestion and went back to try the crop which I've added to the OP.
