Didn't look spectacular from my house this morning, but it only takes a couple minutes to get the drone up a few hundred feet to see the big view.

Jeffery, yes, this is a 4 shot pano. I was trying out the in camera HDR (which I won't use much because it doesn't save the original RAW images).

I've heard that the Mavic can do a pano automatically. Is that correct? I don't have that feature with the Phantom, so I would manually expose a few frames and do the stitch in PS.

Yes, it can do auto panos, but I haven't had good luck with them - too much distortion. You can set the camera to save the RAWs also, so that is an option, but I normally just shoot my panos as individual RAW shots then process and stitch in ACR. I am going to try a bit more HDR by shooting AEB shots and seeing how those process.
