Soooo... I got a new camera. Well new to me. Bought a gently used D810 from a guy on the web. 
Took it out last night, hoping to find something to take a picture of. I went to Petit Jean State park where I can usually find something interesting, but no luck. A storm moved in to the west, and it blocked out all the light so I headed toward home. A few miles from home, I saw the sky clearing, and I made a dash to Cadron Settlement Park on the Arkansas River not far from my home. I scampered through the woods to a ledge that hangs over the water, and quickly set up at a spot I have been looking at for some time. The colors started lighting up the water and I clicked this one off using the self timer, because I didn't have time to fiddle with hooking up my remote. I know it will take me awhile to get used to this Camera, but like a kid at Christmas I am really happy to have a new toy.
