Super Bloody Moon Eclipse

What a night, as usual, the Bay Area weather turned cloudy on the night.

I was able to grab a few shots to make this time lapse while listening to the coyotes howling.

Enjoy.

Love that suspenseful music Oliver! And that's really cool how you did the video, it matched the suspense of the music. And was that a plane that crossed in front of the moon? Are you able to pull out a single frame from it?

Great job.

I wasn't sure it was working to begin with when I saw the dark sky. Nice glimpses of the blood red moon.

Hi Alan, yes, that was how much cloud there was last night.

Thats a really tough subject and it's not like we get to practice it often. Nice job

Ben, it was pretty tough, at maximum eclipse the moon was blocked completely, afterwards I had to do a 3 seconds exposure to find the moon.

Jim, yes, that was a plane flying by, I will see if I can pull out anything meaning full. All the shots were taken at ISO 3200, it was pretty rough.

The clouds certainly make it more interesting for the timelapse. Well done Oliver!

Tim, thanks, it seems the whole of Nor Cal were covered by clouds. I stayed for about 1.5 hours, only got 30 min of shooting time.
