Swamp Creek

The name of this water body seems more like something I would expect somewhere besides a coastal mountain stream but this is what the maps say. It drains into the Willamette just north of Eugene. I drove the road that follows this creek as a route from Eugene to Mapleton about a month ago when I first hiked at Sweet Creek. Late fall leaves and a rather bright sunny day made for a pretty wide dynamic range.
