Yesterday I drove up to the bear River NWR about 80 miles north of me for some bird photography.

The eagles I hoped for were gone, several ponds had not yet filled with water and many shore birds had not started to arrive. But there may have been at least 1,000 tundra swans taking a rest from their northern migration. They were spread out over several ponds and the image below is just a sampling.

These are really great Ben!

The first one is my favorite but I know that’s the Landscape photographer in me. :)

The tighter bird shots are all very cool. I am glad you got out there to shoot
