Symphony at Sea

Well, this isn't really the sea, it's the ocean, but the title was what came to mind, The series of wave splashes looked like cymbals clashing.

This is from Woods Cove in Laguna Beach from a few weeks ago. The symphony was hitting on all of the right notes.

All comments are welcome,

Looks like Thors well time two.
Thanks Ben! What struck me with this one was while the mini Thors Well was doing its work in the foreground that both wave splashes not only lined up with it but splashed simultaneously. That's really not an easy feat at the beach. Most often what's happening in the foreground at the beach is after the wave has come in and done it's splashing on the rocks. So for it all to time out together in that spot, I was really overjoyed. I could even hear the song Glorious in the background, and I know it wasn't Zeph's shower.

Definitely some nice timing to catch two water features at once like this. I am usually tickled if I can get one of them right.

Jim,
I definitely agree with all the comments above. This is really nice capture. Is it possible to walk out to the distant hole without getting soaked?

Thanks so much Bob, I am glad you liked this one.

There is about a 5 or 6 foot gap between the closest splash and the rocks where the far splash happens at. I dress to get wet when I go to the beach so getting wet is normal, but it would take a lower tide to cross to the furthest rocks.

I really like all of the images yo have put up from Laguna Beach, Jim. This one is excellent.
Thanks so much for those kind words Doug! I probably don’t get to Laguna as often as I should, Corona Del Mar and Huntington Beach are where I shoot the most. But I do try to get to one of the coves in Laguna once a month.
