Taj Mahal at Dusk

No, not that Taj Mahal, the Taj Mahal at Big Bend National Park. This was shot at dusk almost 3 years ago from the backside, 2 different perspectives. I hope to catch a sunrise from the front view one day. I have never shared these images before and I did just a slight rework or rather tweaking from my past processing. Not sure which I prefer the most. I like prefer the light on the first, composition on the 2nd. Oh well, gives me something to look forward to in the future.

For those whom have never been to BBNP, I HIGHLY recommend it. A most magical place that one can get lost in, both physically and emotionally.

Tech details: canon 5dmkii, 17-40L

Gotta be a contrary here - I like the first one both for the colors and the comp. The leading lines of the foreground rocks in the second is a compelling shot but I am a bit of a sucker for shots that can incorporate silhouettes. The ocotillo amidst the scattered creosote works well for my eyes.

Thank you Mike for the feedback. Sometimes, for me, when shooting landscapes, I am indecisive on which comp is the stronger as I have personal pulls in both directions. It helps to have a 2nd pair (or more) or eyes.
