Nicely done result. HDR can be ridiculously overdone but handled like you used it here is quite effective at capturing a wide dynamic range.

That tree looks great! And if you hadn't mentioned HDR I don't think anyone would have spotted it. Which to me is the sign of great processing on your part.

It absolutely adds to the image in my view it doubles its value
