The Dogwoods are blooming...

I hope everyone is finally enjoying the spring.. A late start here in the north east. The dogwoods are in bloom and here are a few from my yard. My interpretations tend to get a little abstract occasionally . I try to play with all elements ie: DOF, selective focus and color to create the images. In one instance I have used a focus stack to create sharpnesss across the bloom. All shot with a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro lens which I have had for many years and highly recommend if you like creative macro.
I hope you enjoy and of course comments are always welcome regards, Dean

Nice and interesting set, Dean. This is one of my favorite flowers or should I say bracts.

These are super cool Dean! I definitely need to come and shoot some pink Dogwoods sometime. I really enjoyed your creativity here, and all of them are great with #2 and then #3 being my favorites.

Nice array of color and use of focus. I like the first with the standard technique and comp, but the total randomness of the second is very natural.
